Vintage 1960s Hand-carved Sichuan-crafted bamboo and bone mahjong set
1980年 四川工手雕膠麻雀牌
This is a Sichuan-crafted mahjong set. Notice how the One-Bam (character) tile still carries the transitional charm of older, antique mahjong styles.
The flower tiles feature four official ranks and four wild (tingyong) tiles. The bone tiles are thick and solidly crafted, and it even comes with a handcrafted bone die.The whole set feels very refined.
Complete set with all 144tiles.
The wooden box is loose and not completely intact.
