Crafted from Bakelite—an early form of vintage synthetic resin known for its density and exceptional quality.

The Bakelite era marked a key transitional period toward machine-made mahjong tiles, making hand-carved Bakelite sets remarkably rare.

This particular set also includes the delightful and sought-after'Cat & Mouse' Flower tiles.

Complete set with all 144tiles.
